8. 40th Anniversary Celebrations The Officers Dedication Service had taken place with an attendance of 80 Officers. Thanks were expressed to the Chaplain and Officers from 8th Carrick for hosting this special event. Quite a number of those present felt that this service should be an annual event. There was the possibility of joining up with a local church group. The cost would be around £500 with fund raising.

A Sunday at end of September for a Dedication Service. First week in December a Joint Council Training evening and after Easter a night of celebration and the AGM. The Executive would meet in November and February and a special area of the Battalion website could be set up to allow discussion by email if any problems arise. It was also felt that we should have a prayer time during Executive meetings.
