EAST ANTRIM BATTALION

ANCHOR BOY COUNCIL

The Anchor Boy council met at Ballylinney Church on 24/5/2007 at 7.30pm as part of the joint section Meeting.

Those present were as noted in the Attendance Book.

No Apologies were received.

Matters Arising

Margaret opened in prayer and then Drew Buchanan declared all offices vacant, the following were voted into office:-

Chair Person - Margaret McAdoo, proposed by Gwen Law and seconded by Noelle Graham.

Vice Chair - Noelle Graham, proposed by Gwen Law and seconded by Ruth Duff

Secretary - Andrea McDowell, proposed by Gwen Law and seconded by Margaret McAdoo

Representative to the Executive - Andrea McDowell, proposed by Gwen Law seconded by Noelle Graham.

Training Representative - Margaret McAdoo proposed that Jane Kennedy continues in this roll and will contact her to confirm this.

Representative to NI District - Gwen Law to continue in this post.

With all positions filled, Margaret gave us dates for our diary for the forth coming session and 40th Anniversary celebrations.

Officers Dedication Service - Sunday 23/9/07 in Holy Trinity Church, Carrickfergus at 7.00pm.

Outreach Mission - Friday 9/11/07 for company section and officers in Ballyclare leisure centre

Carol Service - 2/12/2007 in Ballyclare area, church and time to be confirmed.

All Sections Parade - 13/4/2008 in Carrickfergus, Anchor Boys will line the route

Anchor Boy and Junior Section Fun Day - May 2008, date and venue to be confirmed.

Officers Dinner - Date and venue to be confirmed.

Each area will hold there own community events:
