GO4IT Challenge
This years GO4IT challenge
took place in Castledawson Presbyterian Church halls. This is a national event
and is open to all junior section companies in Northern Ireland. It ran over a
Friday evening and a Saturday. 14 companies took part on the Friday and 7 on the
Saturday morning and 6 in the afternoon session.
I attended the Saturday
afternoon session at which there were companies from Kilkeel to Ballykelly plus
a few in between.
The winning team at this
session was 1st Kilbride (the only team from East Antrim Battalion).
This was a very worthwhile
event as it was a team event and to succeed the boys had to work as a team.
If you did not have a chance
to attend this year could I encourage you to do so next year. As with all
competitions they are not successful unless companies take part.
