Anchor Boys

 

The Northern Ireland Anchor Boy Competition is held annually.  This year the boys had to design and colour a 'Birthday Card'.  They were free to choose the picture and the message for the card.  The competition was in two categories - those in P1 & P2 whose card was to be A4 folded and those in P3 & P4 whose card was A5 folded.
 
East Antrim Battalion invites entries from all their Companies (one in each age category) which are then judged independently and the best two are then forwarded into the Northern Ireland Competition.
 
This year the winners of the East Antrim Battalion round were
 
        P1/P2        Robert Boyle         1st Larne Company
        P3/P4        Kyle Hutton           8th Carrickfergus Company
 
The boys are awarded the 'President Cup' which the share (6 months each).
