Junior - Competitions- Final 5 aside football

The East Antrim Battalion Final of the Junior Section 5-a-side football competition was held in Larne Leisure Centre on Friday 3rd February 2012. There were six companies taking part, they were 1st Cairncastle, 2nd Larne, 3rd Ballyclare, 1st Ballyeaston, 6th Carrickfergus and 1st Greenisland.

Each of these companies had come in the top two of their area heats.

The boys and Officers all had a great time supporting their own teams and some parents got excited with shouting advice and support.

After a few very close matches the winners were as follows:-
In 3rd place 6th Carrickfergus
In 2nd place 1st Greenisland Congratulations to all who made it to the final and well done to 1st Ballyeaston who will now go to the NID 5-a-side Football Final in Lisburn on 24th March 2012.
