Golf Competition

East Antrim Battalion Golf 2009

Although the weather was not great, 19 boys representing 7 different companies turned up for this years Battalion Golf competition at Ballyearl Golf Centre.

The boys went out in groups of 3 or 4, playing 9 holes. All seemed to have a good time, although a few got very wet, with the latter groups having to shelter for a while from the heavy rain.

In the end, Matthew Porter from 7th Carrick won the competition by 1 shot from Jamie Cameron of 8th Carrick. Ross Jamison (8th Carrick) and Bradley Spence (1st Greenisland) came joint third.
