On Friday 3rd November 2006 at 8.00p.m. in 1st Kilbride Presbyterian Church eight Junior Section companies met for the annual Quiz Kids heat. There were 4 teams from Carrickfergus, and one from Kilbride, Larne, Greenisland and Ballyclare. The teams were made up of 4 boys from each company. There were a total of eight rounds. Each round consisted of ten questions which ranged from various subjects such as the Bible, general knowledge, sports and Boys Brigade. There was also an observation round and a word search round.

The competition was won by 1st Larne with 58 points.

5th Carrickfergus were seconds with 56 points

8th Carrickfergus were 3rd with 55 points.

Well done to all the boys who took part and congratulations to the winning team.
