COMPANY SECTION

The first term of the year is coming to a close and a lot has been cramed in by the boys. Eight of the boys are working towards their D.O.E. Silver and also towards their Queens badge and are working hard. They have been overnight in the Mournes in tricky conditions and are at the moment doing community work.

In December the boys visited Parliment Buildings at Stormont by kind invitation from MLA Edwin Poots. A very informative evening was had as we were shown around the Senate, the Assembly, and the Great Hall. Tea,soft drinks and biscuits were had at the end of the evening in the long Gallery

. On the 16th December 2004 at 1100am the senior boys will be putting on a concert of songs and Christmas carols for the benefit of Brookfield School Moira. Brookfield school is a special needs school catering for a wide range of learning difficulties and the boys wanted to do something for the children.

B.B finishes on the 9th December and starts again on the 13th January 2005. All the Officers wish all the boys a peaceful and happy Christmas and hope that SANTA is good to you all.
